Your Data

Protecting your data is important to us. We believe in data-minimization, maximizing on-device data storage, and full transparency and control.

The Vercrio app allows you to authenticate your identity so you can access corporate resources. When setting up Vercrio, or occasionally during use, we collect short selfie videos of you speaking. This video is then shared with others in your organization so they can verify your identity. Administrators in your organization may review these videos for security purposes. This video is also used to generate FIDO-compliant biometrics to verify your identity. Additionally, we collect your email address within your organization so we can locate your record. We do not collect any other data. We will use only use your video data for authenticating your identity. We may use your email address to send information relevant to your usage, such as notification when a new phone is being enrolled.

All biometric data generated from your selfie videos is stored on your mobile device and never leaves your phone. Video recordings and your email address are also stored on your phone, and in addition may be sent to Vercrio servers. All data transported to Vercrio servers will be encrypted in transit and at rest.

To delete all data on the device, simply delete the Vercrio app. Video recordings and email addresses stored on our servers are deleted over time, typically within a few months. This retention period is based on your organization’s legal, security and compliance requirements, so please contact your IT administrator for the retention policies of your organization.

If you do not wish for your data to be collected and used for Vercrio Authentication, please delete this app immediately and contact your IT administrator for other authentication options. For any questions about these terms, please contact legal@vercrio.com.
